St. George Weekend

Last Thursday we went down to st george for the weekend. We had such a good time! Our friends Dave & George let us stay in their casita (thanks Bryson) and it was so nice! The boys had such a good time playing with Kassidy & Stormy and did not want to leave!
Here are a bunch of pics from the weekend!

On Friday we pretty much swam all day long!

It was a really fun weekend and the boys can't wait to go back again! Thanks again to Dave & George for letting us stay with them (hopefully next time we can actually see George before we leave, she had to work in Vegas all weekend) and for Dave finding us fun things to do and for Stormy & Kassidy for keeping the boys entertained! You guys are the best!

Noah's Haircut

So we finally decided to cut off Noah's mop! Here are the before and after pics!

Isn't it the middle of April?!?

So I thought it was supposed to be spring! On Monday I was out pulling weeds all day and I went for a bike ride and now all the sudden we are right back to the middle of winter! The boys were so excited to put on their snow clothes and play outside this morning. I bet we had a good 6 inches out there! Here are some pics from our snowy April day!

I also got the chance yesterday to go do a session at the new Draper Temple. It was really nice, it had been too long since I'd been to the temple! Thanks Kathy, Gwenna & Camie for taking me with you!

Easter

We had a really great Easter weekend! On Saturday we woke up early to go to Nik & Nate's soccer game at 9am (it was freezing & rainy and I never remember the camera) and then we came home and got our coats to go to the city Easter egg hunt.
Here are all the boys with the really scrawny easter bunny.

Nik & Nate with all their loot. They really just wanted all of the "candy canes".

Noah would not move from one spot so he only got a few things! Such a crazy kid!

After the easter egg hunt we ram to walmart to get some sure jell because we were headed over to Grandma Jeppersons to make strawberry jam (yummy!!). They had an Easter bunny at walmart and Noah really wanted to get a picture with him even though Nik & Nate wanted nothing to do with him. Such a cute kid!
Then on Sunday the boys found their Easter baskets and were so excited to get money (I didn't want to do candy this year so we did change instead, amazing how excited 3&5 year olds get about a dollar in change!) and they finally got their new pillowcases they'd been wanting (and needing) for a while now! Nate got Spiderman, Nik Batman, & Noah Transformers! We actually made it to church early and got a seat on the benches which never happens! Then in the afternoon we got to go to Grandma & Grandpa Jeppersons for a super fun Easter egg hunt and then to Grandma Cathy & Grandpa Brents for dinner and FHE. It was a fun day and the boys had a really great time playing with cousins! Thanks to all our family for making it a great Easter! We Love You!

Happy 50th Dad!

So last week my dad turned 50! We all met up at Mi Ranchito to surprise him when he walked in, although I'm pretty sure he knew we'd be there! It was a fun time especially when they made him wear a huge sombrero to sing Happy Birthday to him!
After dinner we went back to my mom & dads house to eat cake and ice cream and play rockband all night long! I was just glad my boys didn't have school the next morning! My mom got a cake with a picture on it...yep that's my stylin dad back in the day! Love the glasses!

And here he is now looking better than ever! He is still in better shape than I am (sad but true!) Maybe one day he'll slow down enough for us to catch up but hopefully not for a long, long time! I love you dad you're the best dad and grandpa anyone could ask for! I hope you had a great day!

So it's been a while....

It has been quite some time since I have posted, just been lazy really! But I thought I'd get back in the habit since this is the only journal/scrapbooking I do! So things have been a little crazy lately, at the end of February (for those of you who may not know) I ended up having an ectopic pregnancy so I had to go in for surgery to have one of my tubes taken out. It was kind of scary and really sad but it went well and I healed really fast! I'm still not sure that it wasn't a sign telling us we should be done having kids but we'll see. Clint's answer to it all was "maybe we should just get a dog instead" Love that guy! I guess we'll just see what the future holds for us in that area! Clint thought it would be funny to take a whole bunch of pictures of me right before I went into surgery so I am posting this one just for him!
Yes I know I look stylin!

Another thing we did last month was take the boys to a UVU Basketball game this is how well they enjoyed it...

Needless to say we didn't stay too long!
It was pretty boring and even the dancers and cheerleaders weren't great! But oh well they were free tickets and I got a churro- can't complain about that!!

All in all life is pretty great for us! I am so blessed to have three beautiful boys and a wonderful husband who loves me no matter what! Love you sweetie!
